To celebrate Frank Lampard's record scoring 203 goals for Chelsea FC, we laid out all 203 balls at Stamford Bridge in the exact position and height from where they were scored.
Each ball was specially made with the match in which the goal was scored and the minute that it was scored. We were also challenged to find a solution as to where and how to display the 47 penalty goals he scored. The winning solution was to create two trajectory lines, from the penalty spot to the goal, resulting in a dynamic V for victory.
With limited time on the pitch available we went armed with plans, graphs and tape measures to grid out the pitch and plot out each of the 203 goal spots and successfully placed all of the footballs in place, in time for Frank's arrival.
